We strongly
urge all the foreign tourists traveling to Iran to book their Imam Khomeini
Airport taxiin advance and we have good arguments to support this
recommendation. First of all, most of the incoming flights at the International
Imam Khomeini Airport (IKIA)
arrive at night and finding a taxi at late hours can be a hassle. Second, we
don't want you to meet the very few "wrong drivers" who would
rip the foreign tourists off through a variety
of tricks. One of their most commontricks is that they pretend the
directions
to your desired hotel is confusing and that they cannot find it. They
will instead take you to another hotel at which you have no
reservation and whose owner and that driver have an
agreement; for each tourist that the driver takes to that hotel he will
get a commission. So, even if you are not
interested to book our IKIA pickup services in advance, at least have our Imam Khomeini Airport Taxi phone number with yourself and call us in cases
of emergency.

I booked the taxi from Imam Khomeini Airport from this side, and I am very satisfied with the service and communication with the driver. He was very nice and drove us to our hotel Karoon in centrum for a good price of 10€/taxi. I had two taxi booked and they drove us safely back after our visit in Iran.
I strongly recommend this taxi. Helpful and kind. Maybe not so big car, but I think they had enough for 2 luggage. Thank you!!!

Reservation was easy. The driver contacted me via whatsapp in advance. Unfortunately my european sim didn't work once I have arrived. So I could not text him that my flight had a short delay. But the driver was still waiting with a chart with my name on it. Transportation was good. The price is pretty high for iranian standards. But when you arrive at night it's better to have a reservation rather than calling a taxi or a snap which does eventually not work with your sim, also the sim from Iran cell at the airport didn't work.Admin:
